If you need VPN support via network manager you have to install one of the following packages: network-manager-openvpn network-manager-vpnc network-manager-openconnect. The network-manager-pptp plugin is installed by default. Follow the steps below to configure OpenVPN on a device running on Ubuntu 18.0 or above. We have demonstrated the guide using a device running on Ubuntu 18.04. Installing OpenVPN network manager 1.
