It allows users to download the full VPN client, RDP/SSH into devices on the UNF network, and browse websites only available on the UNF network. See below for examples of using the VPN web portal.

The Gatorlink VPN service provides secure remote access to the University of Florida network and makes it appear as if your computer were physically attached to the campus network. By using the Gatorlink VPN client, you may access resources on the UF network that are not typically available over an Internet path.

Type in vpn.ufl.edu. Then choose connect. You will be prompted for your gatorlink ID and Password. Enter your credentials and clicked OK. It will take a few moments, (depending on your internet connection) to connect to UF VPN. There should be a Cisco AnyConnect icon with a lock on it in the system tray indicating you have an active VPN connection.
