The following configuration works on ubuntu 12.04, I was able to setup static and a private ip addresses, however when I try the same thing on ubuntu 14.04, I get the following error: RTNETLINK answers: File exists. Failed to bring up eth0. RTNETLINK answers: File exists. Failed to bring up eth0:1. Could you please give me a hint about this?
